Community law firm martin searle solicitors is working with other local businesses to co-host a charity fundraiser for the Chestnut Tree Children’s Hospice. The event, at Joogleberry Playhouse on Thursday, June 5, 2008, will celebrate the end of the gruelling fundraising tandem ride across France organised by Henry Butler, of the Butlers Wine Cellar. The tandem duo reached their destination of Bra in Northern Italy on May 14th.
Fiona Martin of martin searle solicitors said: “The Mad Dogs and English Wine tandem ride has already seen huge local support. This grand finale at Joogleberry Playhouse has drawn real commitment from local businesses and looks set to be a fabulous occasion which will raise even more funds for Chestnut Tree House.”
She added: “martin searle solicitors is celebrating its fourth birthday this month, the team is delighted to be able to roll its own celebrations into such an event supporting such a great cause.”
Tickets are available from the Joogleberry Playhouse (01273 687171), priced at £25 each with at least £20 going to Chestnut Tree House.
The evening kicks off at 6pm with wine from the award winning Ridegeview Estate in Ditchling and dinner featuring sausages from Bramptons Butchers (veggie sausages from Paskins Townhouse). Entertainment will be by Jamie Muscato, The Fish Brothers and Carly Bryant. There will also be a disco.
Event sponsors are Bonett’s Estate Agents, Vanilla Events, Latest 7, Joogleberry Playhouse, Greenwoods, Natural PR and Paskins Townhouse.
