‘‘I am committed to ensuring that our website and social media content is informative and accessible to everybody.’’
I joined Martin Searle Solicitors in July 2017 because I was impressed by their drive to deliver down to earth, but expert advice through campaigns such as their ‘Mind the Bump’ campaign. I support our marketing director, Fiona Martin, and sometimes take our Head of Ruff Justice, Remy, for walks.
I assist with editing and maintaining our website, managing our social media platforms, organising press and arranging events. I offer tailored, in-house marketing training to my colleagues at our main office in Brighton and Hove. I encourage blogging, activity on our social media platforms and community engagement to establish a great relationship with our professional and prospective clients.
I also offer support to Refugee Support Europe: a charity dedicated towards aiding refugees in Greece and Bangladesh with dignity and co-operation. I write and publish a weekly news installment on their website titled ‘The Refugee Support Express’ and offer ad hoc SEO and digital media advice.
I graduated from the University of Brighton in 2017 with a First-class honours degree in English Literature.
During my time at University, I adopted a leading role as a website and content creator as part of a large marketing and logistics team. Whilst organising a large employability event for local literature and media students, I developed a strong social media campaign through creative branding and content management.
I have also worked as a publicity and marketing assistant for a graphic novel publishers in Brighton, and have interned as a company artist for a local music shop during my A Levels.
At the weekend, I can often be found at a rock concert or an energetic yoga class. I have been a member of the British Wheel of Yoga since 2015 and completed a Foundation Teacher Training Course with the BWY in 2016. I love art, music and literature and belong to a creative writing group.
