“I advise employers and employees on a wide range of employment issues. My clients include local and national employers, as well as employees and directors from a variety of sectors such as finance, charities and higher education.”
My clients include local and national employers, as well as employees and directors from a variety of sectors such as finance, charities and higher education. I am also involved in in providing pro-bono work for charities and voluntary organisations through our community engagement programme.
I graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a 2:1 in 2008. After a year of working as a paralegal I completed the Legal Practice Course at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice, graduating with a Distinction. I qualified as a Solicitor in September 2012.
I am a member of the Employment Lawyer’s Association.
Before joining Martin Searle Solicitors as a specialist employment lawyer, I worked for Sussex firm Rohan Solicitors LLP, where I undertook my training contract. During this time I gained valuable litigation experience by attending and assisting with various court hearings and mediations. On qualification, as well as employment law, I also practiced in property law.
Whilst studying for my LPC I volunteered at the Oxford Citizens Advice Bureau, providing initial advice to members of the community in relation to employment, housing and debt problems.
I have a life too
In my spare time, most importantly, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love living in Brighton and having the beach on my doorstep as well as plenty of restaurants and pubs to try out. I try to keep fit and enjoy cycling, but my favourite sport is skiing when I am lucky enough to get the chance!
