Who you’ll meet at martin searle solicitors in Brighton

martin searle solicitors was founded in 2004. The two directors Fiona Martin and Cate Searle met at Brighton University on a law conversion course.

Cate’s interest in community care law began at Brighton Health Authority where she worked with people with learning difficulties during her legal training. She is now one of the country’s leading experts in NHS care home funding and has secured the firm two Legal Services Commission specialist quality marks.

Fiona became interested in the law during her time as elected Vice-President Social Services at Sussex University when she worked with Brighton Law Centre to defend the Union after the 1987 occupation. After qualifying as a solicitor, she worked locally before co-founding martin searle solicitors in Brighton. Fiona now covers employment law in Brighton and Croydon overseeing contentious and non-contentious employment issues for employers and employees.
