GEMS talk on paying for care, January 29, Brighton

Cate Searle, NHS care funding expert, is giving a talk to GEMS (Gay Elderly Men’s Society) on Friday, January 29. In this informal meeting Cate will explore issues to do with paying for and planning for care. She will look at the rights of people to have care in their own home, residential or nursing home. She will also explain the impact of social services’ funding rules and those governing NHS continuing healthcare.

The meeting is at Dorset Gardens Methodist Church from 7pm-9pm.
