A new Acas grievance procedure came into force on April 6, 2009 (Acas Code of Practice on Disciplinary and Grievance). Try our quick quiz to test your knowledge on how to follow the new Acas grievance procedures.

Employees do not have a right to be accompanied at a grievance hearing.



The companion can ask questions on behalf of the employee.



Failure to follow the Acas Code of Practice will not affect the level of compensation.
