Discrimination law expert and martin searle solicitors‘ director Fiona Martin is to address a British Association for Supported Employment (BASE) event in April 2009. Speaking on the Disability Discrimination Act, Fiona will cover issues to ensure disabled people are not unfairly selected for redundancy or otherwise dismissed.
The event will take place at the head office of Scope in London at the beginning of April (date to be confirmed). The audience will include small charities and local authorities responsible for providing support to help people with disabilities into employment.
