HR Digital Media – 19 July 2018
Our HR Digital Media Group was founded in 2006 by Fiona Martin, co-founder of Martin Searle Solicitors in partnership with Wired Sussex.
We welcome business owners, HR Managers, directors and employees responsible for personnel issues who work in the Digital Media Sector.
This Session
Fiona will be providing training and advice on Managing Ill Health and Disability in the Workplace, advising on issues including:
- Managing short and long term sickness absence;
- Disability and the duty to make reasonable adjustments;
- Absence due to stress or harassment caused by employers or colleagues;
- Ill health dismissals.
Attendees will learn how to manage ill health in their workplace. They will also learn about their duties to employees who are disabled or merely ill. Written materials will be provided including an up to date Equal Opportunity Policy.
Booking
This event will be held at our Brighton office from 9:15am – 11:15am.
Events are free for members. Membership costs £25 per year to cover refreshments. Membership invoices shall be issued upon your second HR Matters meeting and are to be paid by cash on the day.
