HR Matters is a bi-monthly HR forum for business owners, HR managers, directors and employees responsible for personnel issues, who work in any sector.

Maximising Staff Performance
This session is tailored to provide managers with top tips on how to effectively develop their workforce to maximise performance. The session will also focus on how to fairly approach staff who are under performing.
In this meeting, Fiona Martin will discuss how to:
• Ensure that current appraisals are relevant and work well for your business
• Understand capability processes and procedures
• Set out the relevant legislation relating to performance and capability issues and how to practically apply it
• Prepare for sickness absence and grievances when performance managing employees.

This event will be held at Martin Searle Solicitor’s Brighton office from 9:15am – 11:15am.
Events are free for members. Membership costs £25 per year to cover refreshments. Membership invoices shall be issued upon your second HR Matters meeting and are to be paid by cash on the day.
