HR Digital Media – 15 November 2018
Our HR Digital Media Group was founded in 2006 by Fiona Martin, co-founder of Martin Searle Solicitors in partnership with Wired Sussex.
We welcome business owners, HR Managers, directors and employees responsible for personnel issues who work in the Digital Media Sector.
This session
A former marketing consultant, Aideen Smith-Watson is the founder of Life Blueprint, a qualified well-being coach and approved member of the Stress Management Society. Drawing from positive psychology, neuroscience and mindfulness, she helps clients strengthen their personal awareness and build greater resilience to more powerfully navigate the challenges, opportunities and goals within their personal and/or professional life.
Aideen’s session will focus on:
- The neuroscience of mindfulness – exploring the mind-body connection and awareness of our inner dialogue
- Becoming aware of the significance of automatic pilot in our personal and professional lives – a mindful response versus an automatic reaction
- How to elicit a relaxation response (that works for you!) to restore and revive
- Using mindfulness skills in stressful situations
Booking
This event will be held at our Brighton office, 9 Marlborough Place, Brighton, BN1 1UB from 9:15am – 11:15am.
Events are free for members. Membership costs £25 per year to cover refreshments. Membership invoices shall be issued upon your second HR Digital Media meeting and are to be paid by cash on the day.
Members and non-members can book a place at the meeting through Eventbrite.
