“Professional in my work, personable in my approach.”
I am the first point of contact to all new and existing clients along with supporting the Solicitors and Chartered Legal Executives across the firm with a wide range of administrative and organisational tasks. I help ensure that cases run smoothly and clients receive a seamless service.
I also conduct legal research for the Court of Protection and Community Care Law team, and have been a part of the working team to safely introduce AI tools within the workplace that abide by SRA regulations.
I produce the weekly agenda for Community Care Law team meetings and ensure the team respond to all new client enquiries within a timely manner. I also research training opportunities to ensure our Community Care Law team continue their growth and development in keeping up with the latest developments in Court of Protection and Community Care law.
Throughout my master’s course in Employment, Work and Equality Law I gained an in-depth legal research background on the Law and Governance of Mental and Social Well-being, Company Law in Practice, and Employment Law developments.
I hold a 2nd Class Honours (Upper Division) in Law LLB (with Honours) from the University of the West of England (UWE) and a Merit in Employment, Work, and Equality Law LLM from the University of Bristol. I am Westlaw Edge UK and LexisNexis certified.
Prior to starting the role as Team Assistant here, I worked for six years for a large retailer, two of those as a delivery driver, giving me extensive experience in a customer-centric environment.
In addition to this, I served as Participation & Equality Officer 2022/23 for UWE Rugby Union Men’s, to then serve as President the following year (2023/24). This led to a nomination for UWE Sports’ Personality of the Year 2023/24.
Outside of work, I have a passion for playing and watching sports, namely Rugby Union and Golf. I enjoy meeting up with friends, going to music events, travelling, and keeping fit. I like reading, particularly non-fiction books around law and business.
