Our free Community Care Q&A panel is part of our June campaign ‘Social Care Funding Matters’ and is aimed at Professional Deputies and private client lawyers.

Cate Searle, who heads up our Court of Protection and Community Care Law team, and Andy McKay, Court of Protection and Community Care Solicitor, will present an interactive discussion based around case studies. Participants are encouraged to bring their own casework examples, ask questions and join the discussion. We will answer your questions and help you navigate the issues to obtain the best results for your clients.

The focus of this session is how to navigate a client’s case where Health or Social Services try to avoid a care funding duty by running a Double Recovery argument, based on your client’s PI Award, Periodical Payments and Reverse Indemnities.  Please submit your questions when you sign up to the event.
